5.3.14 Exhale Roseville meet

Last weekend was an attempt to get off my ass and be slightly productive again. I will admit: I have been very lazy lately. Lazy as in for the past year of putting the camera on the shelf and enjoying other hobbies. And as a result, I have become sloppy with my photography. Whoops. Time to get back in the game.

In Roseville is a weekly car meet at a hookah lounge not too far off from the Roseville Galleria, and it was my first time attending. The meet was, as expected, full of enthusiasts for various brands of autos. Aside from the typical burnouts as people came to and left the area, it was an enjoyable experience. 

I know; white balance isn't even coordinated with the other photos. I decided to experiment this time around, white balance included.

While I did not get the chance to take shots of every car (and truck/motorcycle) out there, rest assured I will be back again soon! Maybe better equipped as well to compensate for the lighting. Until then. Keep those rides clean, and drive on.

Imports@UCI 6th Annual Car Show [Part I]

The Imports@UCI Car Show on February 11, 2012 marks the sixth time the car club has hosted this event. Gathering popularity quickly, all car club chapters from different UCs and Cal-States have been invited to participate and meet their fellow enthusiasts. I love coming to this meet especially, since there are always new cars that show up with unique and perhaps even exotic cars along with their modifications. 

Being hosted most noticeably by K&N Engineering, the majority of the prizes were vouchers for free air filters, easily a $50~$100 value. I actually won a set last year, and to this day I am still running that set of filters on my car! Cleaning them is another story.
